Known as the "world's smallest city," Durbuy is set to host its magical Christmas market starting Friday, November 21st. The market will be spread across Place aux Foires and the adjacent Roi Baudouin park, offering a festive atmosphere. Visitors can also enjoy a large covered ice rink right in the heart of the market. The market will be open on subsequent weekends until January 4th, 2026.
In Flanders, Bruges will launch its Christmas market as part of the "Winter Glow" event, also beginning on Friday, November 21st. This year, the market will be divided into two distinct areas: the Grand-Place (Markt) will feature a traditional ambiance, while Simon Stevinplein will focus on artisanal products. The Bruges Christmas market will continue until January 4th, 2026.
Returning to Wallonia, Charleroi's Christmas village opens on Friday, November 21st, on Place Verte and Place de la Digue. Place Verte will be transformed into an alpine-themed area with ski chalets, while Place de la Digue will host a more traditional village with food and craft stalls.
